Masakatsu Agatsu Katsuhayabi!
by Janice
Masakatsu agatsu katsuhayabi is a saying of the Founder of Aikido, Morihei Ueshiba, O'Sensei, which represents unflinching courage and unflagging effort. It means true victory is Self-victory, victory right here, right now. A Zen interpretation might be to sit still and work hard.
The Universe (God) provides a naturally flowing path of Light for us to follow that requires self-reflection with both unflagging effort and unflinching courage in order to find it. If one sincerely seeks the truth in any situation, rely on masakatsu agatsu katsuhayabi to harness the naturally flowing energy of the Universe and become truly successful in any endeavor.
There is a piece in the art studio, Courage, (or Harmony and Pure Flowing Clear Light) that provides a good opportunity to examine how one harnesses the unflinching courage and unflagging effort that under the right circumstances can result in victory at the speed of Light - masakatsu agatsu katsuhayabi.
Harmony and Pure Flowing Clear Light
The Pure Flowing Clear Light of the Universe (God) is our Light.
